OPEN RESEARCH DAY

Hybrid Project Space invites you to join a special event in a relaxed setting. On June 27th, we will host an open research day to dig into our own archive and explore archives as living, political, and collective spaces.
Who decides which stories are preserved, and which are silenced? How is knowledge preserved and made accessible?
Through conversations, listening sessions, and a shared space for encounter, the program approaches archives beyond institutions, from oral histories and fiction to personal memory, sound, and everyday forms of knowledge. Bringing together artists, researchers, and cultural practitioners, the event invites visitors to reflect on accessibility, storytelling, and the power structures embedded in cultural memory. The open research day is conceived as an open format, with the possibility of joining individual program points throughout the day.
Follow the thoughts of Tasnim Baghdadi, co-director and curator of Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Lucie Kolb, professor of Critical Publishing and researcher, as well as Femi Johnson, Digital Heritage Specialist at the Museum of West African Art during the panel talk. Or get cozy listening to the musical program curated by less than three (<3) with Josiane Pozi and mathias.
